 Department Chair of English and Reading.  Most of my conference papers involve merging texts across genres and traditions, i.e. contemporary film with world mythology, and I take this approach in the classroom as well.  I want students to feel the challenge of the educational experience, and through this to become as independent and fearless and inquisitive as possible.
