Nursing Science
Associate Degree Nursing prepares students to become Registered Nurses. The program follows the roles and responsibilities of the professional entry level registered nurse as defined in the State's nursing practice act. Graduates are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses. This exam is required by the California Board of Registered Nursing and the boards of nursing of other states and U.S. Territories for licensure as a registered nurse.
