The Call Center is an initiative, located at the Palmdale Center and staffed by the Palmdale team, designed to make outbound calls to targeted student and community groups based on an outreach goal designated by a specific Antelope Valley College department. The overarching goal is to increase enrollment and retention rate of students towards academic completion.
The Palmdale staff and student team is knowledgeable of many Antelope Valley College programs, services and processes.
Phone calls are made between the hours of 9:30am and 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday. Fridays are available from 9:30 - 11:30am as needed.
General tracking and reports are maintained to monitor the success and outcomes of the calls and reported to the department upon completion.
