Come hang out at the HUB! The HUB is located between Mesquite Hall and the Student Services building. The HUB is a central location with a dedicated space for all of the student affinity groups, such as FYE/SYE, Umoja, Puente, LGBTQIA+, Dreamers, etc., and shared space where you can access computers or hang out on bean bags.
The Student Lounge is open to all currently enrolled students. Students can enjoy charging stations for their electronic devices and a place for games, socializing, and studying. The Student Lounge is located across the hallway from the Barnes and Noble College Bookstore in the Student Center (SCT).
The AVC Library provides a number of services for students beyond access to books and articles. The library has a multi-use first floor, where you can access computers and printers or just lounge and study. Find a quiet place to study on the second floor or reserve a study room to collaborate with your classmates.
The Learning Center (LC) offers small group & individual drop-in tutoring, supplemental instruction, tutoring appointments, faculty-led Math, Reading, Writing & Study Skills workshops, an open computer lab, and study space.
The Makerspace houses advanced software and milling machines, 3D printers, and integrated manufacturing tools. The Makerspace promotes collaborative creativity, including seminars, certification programs, and other events that bring industry professionals and entrepreneurs together across disciplines to solve and learn.
