American classical guitarist Jack Cimo joins the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra to perform Joazuin Rodrigo’s Fantasia para un gentilhombre. Commissioned by legendary guitarist Andrés Segovia, this Spanish guitar showcase adapts dances from 17th century Spain. Two monuments from Vienna’s classical tradition complete the program: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fidelio overture and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s stirring Symphony No. 35 in D Major (“Haffner”).
