Hear from Latinas in leadership while sipping on a cafecito, learn the history of Lotería (the Mexican bingo), and enjoy a tasty paleta, all as part of Antelope Valley College’s month-long activities celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. There are many exciting activities to choose from, including celebrations, group discussions, and film screenings. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Hispanic culture and connect with others who share your interests.
Events take place September 20 through October 12 across campus. These events are FREE and open to the public. For more information, email studentequity@avc.edu
